Couldn't have been easier!
I had three weeks left before I moved out and the A/C suddenly couldn't keep up with the heat. I didn't want to send $300 on a tech visit for three weeks! ($100 trip charge and $75 a pound for refrigerant. He said he expected three pounds (yeah, right)). So I took a chance on this product. I was worried because Youtube said that I had to have gauges and a thermometer to calculate temp drop. This product showed up in 4 days and worked like a charm. I connected it right up to my unit without an adapter. I slowly shot refrigerant into the system until the included gauge said it was full and presto, air conditioner blew nice cold air again! $68 was a bargain.

Very easy to use
It arrived, I had repaired the leak already in my portable Kenwood PAC 1300 EK. I found the right adapter (included) and connected it to my bullet piercing valve. After running the unit for 30 minutes, i added refrigerant slowly and periodically until full. Gauge was accurate as I tested the system with borrowed professional gauges. I have enough to service 1 or 2 more units. No need to spent $120 unless you are a professional servicing large units.
